Torbay, Teignmouth and Berry Head Coastguard and a Rescue Helicopter from RAF Chivenor recovered a MALE and a POLICEOFFICER from the cliffs at Babbacombe, Torquay. The male was taken into police custody and no injuries were sustained.

Torbay Coastguard assisted Devon and Cornwall Police after a MALE went down the cliff at Babbacombe, Torquay, attempting to recover some property.

MRCC Brixham and Torbay Coastguards provided communications and landing support at Torbay Landing Site for the RAF, who were conducting a Compassionate Transfer.

Torbay Coastguard Team located and assisted Ambulance Personnel in extracting a MALE aged 38years who had fallen from a ledge at Hollicombe Head near Paignton and suffered a broken ankle and facial injuries. Police also attended.

Berry Head Coastguard established the safety of two MALES close to the waters edge at Brixham Breakwater in very windy conditions. They had been fishing and were not in any danger.

Berry Head Coastguard investigated a report of POLLUTION at Mansands, Brixham. Area searched nothing found.

Berry Head Coastguard and Torbay lifeboat recovered a DOG stuck on the waters edge at Sharkham Point, Brixham, after falling down the cliff. A foxhound cross dog was reunited with his owners none the worse for its ordeal.
