Berry Head Coastguard and Ambulance met the fishing vessel Manx Ranger, FY91 in Brixham. A CREWMAN had severed his thumb in the winch whilst fishing off Berry Head. Casualty conveyed to Torbay Hospital by ambulance. |

Torbay Coastguards proceeded to assist Police in search for MALE attempting suicide at Oddicombe/Babbacombe area. Torquay Coastguard was stood down when person apprehended by Police. |

Ambulance Control requested Coastguard assistance with a 35 year old MALE faller at Hopes Nose, Torquay. The casualty who had sustained injuries to his shin was airlifted to Torbay Hospital by Air ambulance as Torbay Coastguard arrived on scene. |

Torbay Coastguard recovered a retriever dog called Max from the cliffs at Hopes Nose, Torquay. The dog was uninjured and returned to its owner. |

Fishing Vessel Deborah Jane located and recovered a male from the entrance of the River Dart after he had been thrown from his speedboat. After being re-united with his vessel he was escorted into Dartmouth by the RNLI Inshore Lifeboat but then taken to hospital by Dartmouth Coastguards suffering from mild hypothermia and neck and leg injuries. Berry Head Coastguard also in attendance. |

Tug Katari proceeded to FV Sea Hunter BM4, 2 persons on board, after it had suffered clutch failure on the gearbox 3 Nm’s South of River Dart entrance. The Fishing Vessel was towed to Brixham and met by Berry Head Coastguards. |

Following a request for assistance from D&C Police to locate a 32 year old suicidal male in the Torbay area. Torbay Coastguard Team and Torbay RNLI lifeboat were brought to immediate readiness, units stood down when police located the individual in a Public House. |
