Torbay Coastguard and Torbay RNLI Inshore Lifeboat requested by Police to assist with a DESPONDENT MALE at Saltern Cove near Waterside Holiday Park, Torbay. Due to possible injuries and mild hypothermia a Rescue Helicopter from RAF Chivenor airlifted the man late in the evening and after being checked by West Country Ambulance he was released in to the custody of Devon and Cornwall Police. |

Torbay & Berry Head Coastguards, Torbay RNLI Lifeboat & Inshore Lifeboat and Police searched for an OVERDUE KAYAKER in Torbay. The 62 year old Gentleman was eventually located 200 yards North of Paignton Pier by the Coastguard and taken ashore by the Inshore Lifeboat whilst receiving first aid by a crewman and then finally transferred to Torbay Hospital by Ambulance. |

The vessel was drifting with two divers still in the water, off Meadfoot Beach, Torbay. The vessel restarted its engine and managed to recover the divers and was escorted into Torquay Harbour by the Lifeboat. |

Torbay RNLI Lifeboat, Inshore Lifeboat and Torbay, Berry Head and Teignmouth Coastguard Teams were tasked to search the area. Coastguard Helicopter Victor Alpha from Portland also assisted. The casualty was located inland and apprehended by the police. |
