Ashburton Search and Rescue Team
Is part of the Dartmoor Rescue Group (DRG). We are also affiliated to Mountain Rescue England and Wales. Our main responsibility is for search and rescue of missing persons in the South and East Devon area.

Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose (HMS Seahawk)
771 Naval Air Squadron is tasked primarily with military and civilian Search and Rescue. With an operating area which spans the Cornish Peninsula, the Isles of Scilly, the Western English Channel, and the Southwest Approaches to a 200nm radius.

Royal Marines Base Chivenor
Units based at Chivenor are "A" Flight of 22 Squadron with two Sea King HAR3A helicopters for Search and Rescue duties and its HQ Flight, and No 624 Volunteer Gliding School operating Vigilant T1 motor gliders.
